What will you do?

A day in the life of a Director, Visual Merchandising & Retail Marketing at Vans looks a little like this. As the Director of Retail Marketing and Visual Merchandising for the Americas, you will lead the strategic vision and execution of Vans’ retail brand experience across North America. You will oversee the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns and visual merchandising strategies that drive traffic, conversion, and brand equity across our owned retail fleet. You will be responsible for shaping how Vans shows up in-store, from storytelling and seasonal campaigns to product presentation and consumer engagement, ensuring consistency, creativity, and commercial impact. This role is pivotal in connecting our brand to consumers through immersive, localized, and culturally relevant retail experiences.

  • Drive end-to-end campaign leadership, overseeing the retail marketing calendar and ensuring timely, high-impact execution of brand launches, activations, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Architect the visual merchandising strategy across all store formats, balancing brand storytelling, commercial effectiveness, and operational scalability.

  • Establish and monitor KPIs and performance metrics, driving continuous improvement, ROI, and business impact across the retail ecosystem.
  • Act as a senior stakeholder in fleet transformation initiatives, including new store openings, remodels, and format evolution, ensuring brand consistency and strategic alignment.
