We’re looking for a Staff Engineer Chapter Lead to design, develop and deploy advanced AI and ML systems. You’ll be part of a high-performing team build frameworks and deliver production-grade GenAI applications that align with CommSec’s business goals. You are highly skilled in MLOps and software engineering, with a strong track record of developing AI models and deploying them in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Build scalable agentic AI solutions that integrate with existing systems and support business objectives
• Design and conduct experiments to evaluate model performance and iteratively refine models based on findings
• Automate LLM outcome validation and metricate AI outputs
• Implement ethical AI framework and tools
• Participate in research initiatives to explore new AI models and methodologies that can be applied to current and future products
• Develop and implement monitoring systems to track the performance of AI models in production
• Lead DevSecOps adoption including continuous integration/continuous deployment, security practices
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across AI engineering initiatives
• Champion modern engineering practices
• Experience in mentoring Engineers and people leadership
• Langfuse, LlamaIndex, MLflow, Gleu, Bleu
• Traditional Machine Learning engineering experience
• Leadership aligned with CBA’s core values.
