As part of our HR team, you’ll work closely with the HR Business Partner to support and step by step lead interactions with unions and employee representatives. This role is designed as a development opportunity for HR talents who are eager to deepen their expertise in social dialogue and labor relations.
You’ll start by shadowing and supporting negotiations, gradually taking on more responsibility through structured mentoring and hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Support HRBPs in all union and works council interactions, including delegation meetings and negotiations.
- Monitor and interpret Belgian labor law and collective agreements to ensure compliance.
- Draft and review labor-related documentation (agreements, communications, meeting records).
- Coordinate logistics and materials for union and works council meetings.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with union representatives and employee groups.
- Contribute to labor relations strategy discussions with insights grounded in legal expertise.
Qualifications
- A Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations Law, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of HR or labor relations experience, ideally in an industrial setting.
- Solid understanding of general HR processes, compliance requirements, employment law and social dialogue mechanism.
- Initial exposure to union or employee representative negotiations.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Experience in a multinational or matrixed environment is a plus.

- Demonstrated ability to mediate between stakeholders (in group) and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Adaptable and resilient in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Some travel may be required for meetings or consultations.
