What Is Fixed Assets Team Responsible For?

The Fixed Assets team ensures accurate tracking, capitalization, and depreciation of company assets, including buildings, equipment, and improvements. It maintains the fixed asset register, reconciles it with the general ledger, and manages asset lifecycle operations in line with global policies and accounting standards. The team also supports reporting and audit processes.

What Are The Ongoing Responsibilities Of An Accountant / Senior Accountant?

Core Responsibilities:

  • You will review supplier invoices for capital projects
  • You will register, adjust, dispose, and transfer assets in Workday
  • You will reconcile fixed asset subledger with the general ledger
  • You will monitor capital project timelines and ensure accurate capitalization
  • You will review asset-related GL balances and post corrections

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • You will perform month-end and year-end close tasks
  • You will conduct annual asset register reviews across global regions
  • You will prepare audit documentation and support audit reviews
  • You will identify and implement process improvements

Team & Collaboration:

  • You will support business partners with Fixed Asset tasks

What Ideal Qualifications, Skills & Experience Would Help Someone To Be Successful?

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business
  • 3+ years in a global or multinational finance function
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Fluent English
