Buffalo Wild Wings is THE Great American Sports Bar. This position will primarily drive execution of the in-bar menu & merchandising materials to improve the effectiveness of in-bar messaging. This position will also help drive the future state of how the brand can increase engagement for customers through its physical bar menu and promotional items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day creative development and execution of in-bar merchandising for programs across BWW Activation Calendar
- Partner with cross-functional teams and creative agency to ensure consistency across print, broadcast and digital channels
- Creative execution and versioning of Core Menu updates – Dine-in, Takeout, Counter and Disposable
- Gather cross-functional input, brief agency and manage creative development & versioning for all Beverage Menu updates
- Work with cross-functional teams to determine legal mandatories based on versioning, nutritional requirements and necessary language based on state limitations and program details
- Lead creative development for POC test materials and menus
- Manage creative & pricing updates needed for BWW Go digital menu boards & promotional materials
- Once in-bar strategy for each Round is determined, manage updating and distribution of merchandising grid
- Manage creative development of Round program OT Graphics for US and Canada
- Brief Patrick Henry on Featured Beers for the development of Beer of the Month promotional materials. Partner with Beverage team on proofing before release to production
- Organize and load all new food & beverage photography in Sharepoint for internal team to utilize
- Responsible for managing production budget including coding & submitting approved invoices and updating production checkbook
- Assist with process for creating and reviewing merchandise and marketing materials
- Develop materials to support in-bar messaging of new menu items as part of innovation process
- Support Sr. Manager with implementation of ad-hoc in-bar messaging programs as needed
- Partner with brand marketing and operations leaders to share best practices across region and scale learnings as appropriate
- Prepare content and attend virtual and in-person meetings as needed
Education Qualifications:
BA with marketing focus preferred
Experience Qualification:
Minimum 2-3 years in marketing or menu/merchandising. Experienced in collaborating with several teams to implement marketing programs in a retail environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills Or Abilities:
- Strong organizational, presentation and communication skills are required
- Professional, proactive, and open-minded approach to marketing with creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop scalable concepts and ensure delivery across complex network of Franchise and Company restaurants
- Ability to work as a team and individually on multiple projects at one time
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Experience with MS office suite (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
