What You’Ll Do:

Main Purpose Of Job :

  • First line responder; pivots between strategy, operations and transactional sourcing
  • Execute against category strategies and work in the guidance of strategic category leaders
  • Manage SOWs/RFI's/Ordering documents. Assist with supplier selection.
  • Manage day to day supply issues. Analyses possible solutions using standard procedures. Communicates pertinent information to both internal customers and suppliers to keep apprised and to prevent problems.
  • Support PO conversion – Issue PO in Oneapp
  • Educate on existing solutions and enable performance and tech tools development
  • PO change management and communicate trends of changes
  • Enable supplier integration and KPI's
  • Drive savings outcomes
  • Collaboration with functions
  • Create and implement RFPs.
  • Proactively identifies areas of opportunity for new business opportunities, process improvement, and cost efficiencies.
  • Considered an SME of categories under their responsibilities.
  • Support purchasing CAPEX.

Impact Of The Position:

  • Applies experience and procurement knowledge to execute the purchasing and supply management strategies created by the Category Managers.
  • Work with customers, internal and external, and the other LATAM sites to solve issues and drive high levels of customer service.  
  • This role will work across multiple regional projects of category.
  • The position will be responsible for  Strategic work, but with  some administrative task of documentation.
  • The Specialist has delegated authority to commit company funds while contributing cost savings and partnerships with suppliers and internal customers.
  • Leads initiatives.
  • Proactively seek innovative ways to improve the procurement processes, cycle times, and customer service levels
  • Full understanding of the "One Procurement" strategies.  Strong knowledge and project work across multiple categories that impact the team positively.
  • Works within defined processes and procedures and may help determine appropriate approaches for change
  • Core Job Responsibilities:
  • Implement agreed purchasing strategies for category to create savings
  • Supply assurance.
  • Seek and support business relationships with diverse suppliers
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
  • Executes against the goals set by the Category Leads/Managers.
  • Seek innovative ways to maintain and improve procurement processes, cycle times, total acquisition costs, and customer service levels.
  • Drive value and savings for categories

You will report to the Mexico Procurement Manager.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require the following qualifications:

  •  Knowledge of category technologies and products. Knowledge of regulatory, compliance and market access requirements linked to product sourcing in support of building sourcing strategies

Qualifications:

  • BA or equivalent experience required: MBA desirable
  • Successful, 3+ year of Business process automation (BPA)
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or similar certification desirable
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a high-level working knowledge of SAP R/3 desirable.
  • Advanced English
