Bain Capital Credit founded as Sankaty Advisors in 1998, is a leading global credit specialist with approximately $40 billion in assets under management. Bain Capital Credit invests up and down the capital structure and across the spectrum of credit strategies, including leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, distressed debt, private lending, structured products, non-performing loans and equities. Our team of more than 200 professionals creates value through rigorous, independent analysis of thousands of corporate issuers around the world. In addition to credit, Bain Capital invests across asset classes including private equity, public equity and venture capital, and leverages the firm’s shared platform to capture opportunities in strategic areas of focus.

Job Responsibilities:

The Finance Co - op will assist the team with all or some of the following:

• Preparing weekly financial reports
• Preparing monthly fund performance calculations and reports
• Preparing investor reports and audit confirmations
• Generating daily compliance reporting
• Assisting in the month end close process
• Assisting in quarter end financial statement preparation
• Helping with the automation of reports and data
• Other ad hoc requests for the finance team as needed

Qualifications:

• Detail Oriented, conscientious and energetic professional with ability to think creatively
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work under deadlines
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with capacity to interact with outside parties and personnel across all levels of the firm
• Dedicated team player with strong sense of ownership and follow through skills
• Proficiency in Excel preferred
