Your Role as a Maintenance Manager: As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of the Easypak facility.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Trouble-shoot machinery for faulty mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic malfunctions and repair/replace as required.
- Fabricate fixtures, parts, tools and support equipment, utilizing machine shop practices and equipment, i.e. Lathe, Milling Machines, Drill Presses, Saws, Welder, and Hand Tools.
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems using blueprints as necessary. Maintain all support machinery, i.e.: Air Compressors, Cooling Towers etc.
- Design and manufacture specialized support machinery and parts as required or assigned.
- Perform electrical wiring on production, support building utilities (120V – 480V) three phase, and 120-volt single phases.
- Perform plumbing and carpentry repairs and work as needed.
- Repair material handling equipment and direct periodic preventive maintenance as directed.
- Monitor parts usage and maintain adequate inventory by searching and ordering parts.
- Perform cleaning duties in maintenance of SQF Standards and in preparation for SQF audits.
- Perform routine machine PM duties.
- Complete maintenance log and CMMS tasks and updates as needed.
What We’Re Looking For:
- Education: BS in engineering – Mechanical, electrical, materials, plastics, industrial, or chemical is highly desirable
- Experience:
- Experience in processing payroll for large groups (200+ associates).
- Familiarity with insurance programs and knowledge of FMLA and COBRA regulations.
- Previous experience with HRIS and benefit administration software.
- Preferred Experience:
- Five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating thermoforming or extrusion equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members
- Competence in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
