Full Time
Responsible for Planning and Logistics areas in Argentina and Chile, including, inventory maintenance and control, support GEA Intercompany process, SAP Data Management, focusing on COST / DELIVERY TIME / QUALITY.
Follow all rules and best practices regarding Quality, Environment and Safety, targeting commitment of all employees involved in company projects and
programs.
Provide and optimize overall logistics strategy and activities in the region. Leads, manages and coordinates the logistics planning, storage and delivery of parts, components, and materials incl. required controls to meet the delivery time.
Lead S&OP meetings, in cooperation with Sales and Finance.

Responsibilities / Tasks
- Inventory level maintenance and control, focusing stock accuracy, Slow Moving and Working Capital reduction.
- Monitor and control transport costs, through appropriate planning of weekly routes versus forecasted deliveries.
- Supports others only within the department in the implementation of short-term operational plans and targets and not only achieves but also defines mid-term goals with some authority to act independently.
- Provide and update forecasted volume of intercompany purchased items.
- Provide and update management reports and KPIs (e.g.:inventory; overtime; planned vs. actual production; etc).
- Production and Logistic workload balance: required capacity vs. actual demand.
- Interface with other units within the group for exchange of information and knowledge.
- Integrating Quality issues (e.g.: customer claims and day-to-day problems) into the process analysis, focusing in immediate improvements.
- Improve constantly the quality of processes and procedures, from the order handling up to the delivery, keeping and improving the service level and customer satisfaction.
- Systemic view of the processes, anticipating impacts in other areas and avoiding/reducing flaws.
- Continuous optimization of processes and structure (strategy, methods, tools, personnel development, etc.) and related key figures.
- Enhance follow-up with overseas suppliers, avoiding delays, Production and Material Planning and Logistic activities, assuring on time delivery of our products.
- Maintenance of regular Sales & Operations Meetings to prepare inventory and resources according to Sales forecast.
- Together with Logistic Team, responsible to keep the On Hand Inventory, avoiding deviations and damage, as well as coordinating cycle counting for raw material and products, providing more reliability for the ERP system figures and avoiding delays/losses of sales due to missing parts.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Mandatory: Degree in Engineering or Businees Administration or Economy
- Desirable: Lean Manufacturing training /qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years working with Planning and Logistics coordination, material planning activities.
- Previous experience as SAP user.
- English, local language.
- Strong Leadership and change competencies; Ability to lead internationally and/or culturally diverse teams.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective communication with different areas.
