Senior Software Engineer - C# / .NET

We are looking for a driven and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Prague.

You will help build the next generation of cloud-based testing products that enable continuous testing and effortless automation for enterprise applications. In this role, you’ll contribute to technical decisions, solve complex problems, and bring innovative ideas into play.

About The Team:

You’ll be joining a Prague-based team responsible for developing the execution modules of our flagship test automation product, Tosca. These modules enable customers to run tests in an unattended fashion.

Today, we maintain and enhance our legacy on-premise technology, Distributed Execution, built with:

• C# / .NET 8 and 10 (with one component still in .NET 4.8)
• ASP.NET, WCF
• RDP, Hangfire, MediatR

At the same time, we are transitioning to our new cloud-native solution, Elastic Execution Grid, a microservices-based system that powers Tosca Cloud. Its tech stack includes:

• .NET 8
• Azure services (Service Bus, Blob Storage)
• Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
• Kubernetes & Docker
• MongoDB
• React (frontend)

The team currently focuses mostly on Distributed Execution, but you’ll play a key role in our transition toward Elastic Execution Grid — shaping how the future of test execution looks for our customers.

What You’Ll Do:

• Design and develop scalable cloud services and automation software in .NET
• Collaborate with Product Management and UX to create great user experiences aligned with business goals
• Review code, share knowledge, and champion engineering best practices
• Mentor less experienced engineers and support their growth
• Experiment with new technologies, approaches, and patterns to improve our products
• Develop and review technical designs for next-gen Tricentis solutions

What makes you a great fit:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in C#.
• Strong background with .NET and cloud-based development
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience working in agile teams
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable code
• Comfortable adapting to change and quickly learning new technologies

Nice To Have:

• Experience with DevOps pipelines and automation
• Knowledge of cloud operations (monitoring, observability, logging, etc.)
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks
