This is an exciting opportunity for a Regulatory Risk and Compliance Officer to join our Next Payments team based in North Parramatta. We are looking for a fun and enthusiastic person, someone who displays initiative and a strong desire to contribute to the team.

With new product launches, strong business growth (increasing from 110 employees in 2021 to 175 employees currently), and recently winning Casino and Carded Play tenders, it is an exciting time to join Next Payments!

The Role

The Regulatory Risk and Compliance Officer will work with the General Manager Payments, Risk and Compliance to ensure all company operations adhere to regulatory standards, industry best practice and in-house policies.

You will contribute to overseeing risk and compliance in customer interactions, data privacy, and regulatory frameworks specific to the gaming, payments and financial services industry.

About You

• Proven experience in a risk and compliance environment
• Thorough understanding of the industry’s standards and regulations
• Experience in the gaming and/or payments industry strongly preferred
• Ability to build relationships both inside and outside the organisation
• Ability to effectively work with all levels of staff
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
