Senior Full Stack Developer- Uruguay

Description

We’re seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our office in Uruguay. You’ll own features end-to-end across frontend and backend, collaborating closely with product and design to ship high-quality user experiences.

• Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications and reusable UI components (e.g., React/Next.js + TypeScript).
• Implement and evolve APIs and server logic (Node.js/Python) that power our apps.
• Work closely with product, design, and analytics to scope, deliver, and iterate on features.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, reliability, and security across client and server.
• Write automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) and maintain healthy CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor production (logging/metrics/alerts), troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements.
• Contribute to architectural discussions for both frontend and backend, keeping things simple and scalable.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience delivering production web applications end-to-end.
• Strong frontend skills: React (or similar), TypeScript/JavaScript, modern CSS , state management.
• Solid server-side skills: Node.js, Python, REST, authentication/authorization patterns.
• Proficiency with databases (MySQL) and familiarity with Redshift; comfort with data modeling and query optimization.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), containers (Docker), and CI/CD.
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills across the stack.
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams.
• Self-directed, collaborative, and product-minded.
• good level of English. 

Nice To Have

• Next.js (SSR/SSG), SEO and Web Vitals, edge runtimes/CDN (e.g., Cloudflare Workers).
• Elasticsearch and/or event streaming (Kafka), big-data pipelines.
