Our London Project Management team is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join a busy and growing group delivering large construction, new build, and refurbishment projects across sectors. With a secured pipeline of work, this role offers opportunities for career progression, exposure to high-profile schemes, and the chance to play a key part in shaping client relationships while guiding and supporting the internal team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key client contact and advisor, providing project direction and oversight.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to Project Managers within the team, ensuring procedures and best practices are followed.
- Undertake duties as Project Manager, Employer’s Agent, or Contract Administrator across a range of schemes.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Contribute to business development activities, supporting the growth strategy of the London office.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the wider Project & Development Services (PDS) team nationally and internationally.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in construction project management, particularly in new build and refurbishment projects.
- Strong understanding of development processes, contract administration, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- Commercially astute with an interest in contributing to business growth.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of project management or design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project) is desirable.
- A natural leader with the ability to mentor and support junior team members.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as MRICS, MAPM, or equivalent (preferred).
