Requirements
As a Lead Machine Learning Engineer, you will lead our efforts in leveraging large language and action models at scale to power our products. As a key member of the AI team, you will be working with other talented engineers to drive the development of novel agentic AI techniques, and integrate these new techniques into multiple product lines. This is an opportunity for someone who is passionate about productizing the latest research, has an interest in pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with agents in a real-world setting, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty in implementation details.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the backend team to design, develop, test, and maintain large language models, large action models and agents leveraging them at scale
- Develop new techniques for training and using large language and action models
- Develop novel agentic architectures around LLMs and LAMs to serve multiple products
- Collaborate on the architecture and engineering of our AI infrastructure to ensure it is robust, scalable, maintainable and performant for multiple AI products
- Drive and own development projects from concept through production. This includes research, prototyping, design, implementation, testing, documentation, training, and maintenance.
- Work with other cross-functional teams such as product to help design the AI systems and models that power our products
Requirements
- MS in ML/AI or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in machine learning or related field
- Strong knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and transformer models.
- Deep familiarity with a variety of deep learning technologies and architectures such as RNNs, attention mechanisms, long short-term memory (LSTM), and sequence-to-sequence models
- Understanding of how to use a variety of deep learning technologies including PyTorch, Tensorflow and Keras
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem solving skills to resolve complex problems in creative ways
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
Preferred
- Masters in ML/AI or a related field
- Hands-on experience with all stages of LLM training and inference
- Experience in reinforcement learning (RL)
- Experience with large multi-modal models
- Experience with agentic frameworks using LLMs (LangChain, LlamaIndex, MetaGPT , AutoGPT , etc)
- Experience with neuro symbolic AI methods is a huge plus
