JOB TITLE: Coordinator, Inventory Management (12-month contract)
POSITION STATUS: Temporary – Full Time
DEPARTMENT: Inventory Management

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Action queries relating to inventory requests
• Action supplier stop sale advisories related to inventory closure and reporting of bookings
• Update PNRs as relates to confirmation and/or cancellation numbers as required
• Action Adhoc supplier booking recaps
• Report on supplier bookings related to EBB specifications
• Establish relationship with suppliers enabling waiving of cancellation fees as stated in contract
• Track Stop sales received from suppliers
• Assist product assistants in product modifications (re-locations) by supplying rooming list or any other pertinent information, as well as advising destination services and supplier of outcome
• Enter notifications (hints) associated with and as specified in program modifications in system
• Generate necessary reports for day-to-day operation
• Secure rooms/transfers for special needs passengers as required
• Manage inventory requests (manual/automated) directly with supplier
• Respond to supplier queries regarding notification discrepancies (occupancies, dupes, names, etc.)
• Manage last-minute bookings; ensure transmittal to supplier, update PNR related to confirmation details
• Support destination services representatives
• Weekend support on a weekly basis, flexible as overtime may be required
• Liaise with other departments as required.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.
• Testing related to quality assurance of product availability and accuracy
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Diploma in tourism or equivalent
• 2 year minimum experience in tour operator
• Microsoft Office applications
• Must demonstrate accuracy, initiative; judgement and act in a confidential manner
• Ability to communicate effectively – written and verbal
• Knowledge of English, French and Spanish is an asset
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work in a team environment, as a contributing member of a results-oriented team
