InfluenceMap is a globally recognized non-profit think tank driving change on climate and sustainability. We produce cutting-edge, objective research on how businesses and finance impact the climate crisis, working collaboratively across corporate, finance, public, civil society, and media sectors.

We are seeking a UK-based Program Lead to lead our Europe-focused research and amplify our impact across the region. In this role, you will connect directly with EU policymakers, industry leaders, civil society, and the media—helping shape the policies and strategies that will define the future of climate and nature in Europe.

You will also have the chance to work with our global network of partners to help develop and share our cutting-edge content.

InfluenceMap's mission is to reform the way that corporate and finance sectors advocate to governments on climate and biodiversity policy. Depending on the candidate, the responsibilities of the position will cover some or all of the following:

  • Research & Content Management - Oversee the research driving the LobbyMap platform’s assessment of European corporate and industry association engagement with climate policy. Manage the production of high-quality content for media, investors, and other external stakeholders, ensuring the timely delivery of quarterly platform updates.
  • External Engagement - Coordinate high-profile engagements with companies, investors, policymakers, and NGOs, supporting decision-makers to advance climate and nature policy in the region.
  • Strategy & Impact Planning - Develop and drive the annual strategy for the Europe platform, ensuring alignment with our key partners and the evolving EU policy developments.
  • Team Leadership & Development - Manage and support a talented group of analysts. Help refine their skills and deepen expertise to strengthen program delivery.

InfluenceMap's approach is data-driven and emphasizes accuracy, consistency, and meticulous attention to detail. You will receive comprehensive training in our research methods and learn how to communicate our results effectively. You will need to apply analytical rigor, communicate complex ideas clearly, and contribute to innovative engagement strategies to maximize impact with our key stakeholders.
