Role Purpose
Aligning to the talent acquisition strategy for the assigned BU’s, this role will lead the sourcing and securing of talent for General Manager and Corporate Office roles. It will leverage IHG’s brand presence, reputation, recruitment tools and platforms for executive search function and provide IHG with high caliber and diverse candidates. This role will also be BU conduit for the Global Talent Acquisition team for communication and alignment with the assigned BU’s to the CMH hotels.
Key Accountabilities
- Partner with business to identify and drive Resourcing requirements for assigned segment (either Corporate or GM) and /or as directed by TA lead manager
- Proactively source and recruit candidates for active roles within designated segment
- Build and maintain external candidate pools for the assigned segments and region
- Drive usage of myRecruit (or local job board connections) in CMH
- Deliver service level agreements against all resourcing activity
- Support local HR teams in Operations on Global Talent Acquisition requirements
- Key talent acquisition expert across various platforms
- Thought leader for Digital Talent Marketing for now and future
Key Skills & Experiences
Critical Expertise & Recent Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of executive search and recruitment experience in both in house and agency acquisition
- International sourcing and recruitment experience within assigned BI countries
- Talent Acquisition business partner experience within hotel/corporate industries
- Digital Marketing exposure
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Research and executive sourcing skills
- Extensive networks and contacts within and outside of hotel industry
- Inclusive and unbiased recruitment skills, strategies and tools that support diversity hiring
- Effective presentation, consulting and interpersonal skills Advanced computer skills
- Ability to navigate and utilize job boards and interface to own systems
- In depth knowledge of acquisition principles, systems and processes
- Experience and capability with delivery of assessments and key selection processes
- Social media savvy and overt presence in candidate markets
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable in market laws affecting sourcing and recruitment.
