The Phase 1b trial in patients with Ulcerative Colitis has just started. GRT-002 is an IL-3 neutralizing antibody that is thought to play an important role in type II inflammation.

Responsibilities
Corporate Finance & Controlling- Lead budget planning, financial forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Administer finance and treasury operations, including working capital management and hedging strategies.
- Oversee all aspects of accounting (Swiss CO), including cash flow monitoring, audit, procurement and vendor relationships.
- Manage tax-related matters (e.g., VAT, income tax, stamp tax) in collaboration with tax advisors.
- Manage cap table and employee equity plans (SOP, SIP).
- Coordinate with external stakeholders (tax advisors, auditors, legal counsel) and internal teams, serve as central point of contact for finance questions.
- Proven ability to lead change management and administer financial systems, with hands-on expertise in NetSuite. Implement scalable finance processes and systems in preparation for expansion (Internal Control System implementation).
- Prepare and manage regular reporting and financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss reports, by department and project.
- Ensure compliance with Swiss GAAP (ideally also US GAAP) in all financial reporting, including quarterly and annual reports.
- Collaborate with leadership to provide insights based on financial data and analytical findings.
- Monitor KPIs, track performance, and create data visualizations (e.g., Power BI).
- Oversee purchase order management, expense reporting, and time tracking.
- Provide financial oversight on project management activities.
- Assist project teams in coordinating internal and external meetings, including agenda preparation and meeting minutes.
- Support internal governance committee planning and lead the presentation of financial data (e.g., FTE/budget figures, scenario planning).
- Support development of organizational project management capabilities, serving as the central point of contact for project teams.
- Support corporate secretarial functions, including maintaining statutory records, preparing Board materials, and ensuring compliance with governance requirements.
Who You Are
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification (Swiss GAAP, ideally also US GAAP).
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in corporate finance, accounting, and controlling.
- Proven experience in NetSuite.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on cash flow optimization and asset management.
- Proven experience in life sciences, ideally combined with exposure to start-up environments. Strong organizational and project management capabilities with the ability to align finance and project operations effectively.
