Pizza Chef - Italian

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Italian Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in crafting authentic Italian-style pizzas using traditional techniques, fresh ingredients, and high-quality dough preparation. You will be responsible for making dough from scratch, preparing toppings, baking pizzas in a wood-fired or stone oven, and ensuring each pizza meets our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook authentic Italian-style pizzas, including Neapolitan, Roman, or other regional styles
• Mix and ferment fresh pizza dough daily using traditional methods
• Operate and maintain wood-fired, gas, or stone ovens for optimal pizza cooking
• Slice, prepare, and store fresh pizza toppings, sauces, and cheeses
• Monitor oven temperature and cooking times to ensure pizzas are cooked evenly and to specification
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control standards are consistently met
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station and kitchen area
• Comply with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to refine recipes and contribute to menu development
