Tableau Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau Developer with 5 to 7 years of experience to design, develop, and optimize impactful dashboards and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Tableau, complex SQL, and data governance best practices. This role requires close collaboration with business analysts, data engineers, and key stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced Tableau dashboards that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
• Optimize dashboard performance and user experience using best practices in Tableau and SQL.
• Write and maintain complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from various sources.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
• Maintain and enhance data models, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and scalability.
• implement and follow data governance, data quality, and metadata standards.Create and maintain technical documentation for dashboards, data models, and reporting processes.Provide support and training to end-users to ensure consistent and effective use of reporting tools.Participate in code reviews, QA processes, and performance tuning activities.

Must-Have Skills:

• 5–7 years of experience working as a Tableau Developer in an enterprise environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online.
• Expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries across large datasets.
• Proven ability to design and optimize Tableau dashboards that are performant, user-friendly, and aligned with business needs.
• Experience in collaborating with analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights.
• Proficient in maintaining data models, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Knowledge and experience with data governance practices and reporting documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Good-To-Have Skills:

• Experience with other BI tools.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data analysis or automation.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams involving data engineering, product, and business teams.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL pipelines.
