角色职责:

• The Mechanical Engineer will utilize strong Design and Project Management skills and will operate within multidisciplinary teams to develop and introduce new product designs. In this role you will implement Fire Alarm Sensors and Devices from design to production.

角色 目的:

• Design, implement and maintain Fire Alarm Sensors and Devices from specification through production.  Emphasis is on mechanical design, project completion, engineering documentation, and product agency certification. Define and execute engineering design testing, reliability and verification.
• Perform the necessary design control documentation as per our engineering design control system.
• Maintain project design on schedule and cost targets.
• Interface, work and support local and remote engineering teams (i.e. Hardware Engineering, Sourcing, Mold Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering etc.) on projects requirements and development.

最低要求:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, and above
• Good level of English, both spoken and written.
• 3 or more years detail design experience in Mechanical Engineering
• Expertise in injection molded plastics part design
• At least 1 years of experience in multi-national companies.
• A good understanding of DFM / Trouble Shooting / Simulation / Reliability techniques and project planning
• Experience with Fire Products/Market, Sensor Engineering, Audio / Lighting Engineering, Wireless, and Fire Alarm Panels and Systems, is a plus.
• Knowledge of worldwide Fire product regulatory standards such as UL or EN, etc. with testing and regulatory agency certification experience, is a plus.
• High capability and creativity for analysis and problem solving
• Highly self-motivated lead engineer with a results oriented, and proven track record
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong team player, action oriented, highly motivated self-starter
• Bring a positive, can-do attitude to the work place each day
• Sense of commitment and urgency
• Willingness to travel as needed (estimate 10% of time max)
