Brief Position Description:
The Application Analyst (Veeva) supports the day-to-day operations of Veeva applications, (Clinical, Safety & Training) in different shifts ensuring optimal system performance and SLA adherence for the defined services and incidents. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of all Clinical Systems services, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining a high level of end user and client satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Degree in a related field; computer science, information technology and/or information systems. Experience in clinical trial systems supporting the CRO and/or pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Provide L1/L2 support for Veeva Vault suit of applications clinical (Veeva Vault Clinical – eTMF, CTMS, SSU, Payments, Vault Study training & Safety) as per company defined SLA’s.
- Shall be able to work in different shifts to provide application support for the users (both internal and external) spread across different geographical regions (ANZ, /Asia, /Europe /& USA).
- Manage training assignments, user onboarding and offboarding Veeva Vault suite of applications in accordance with the Novotech defined IT/Infosec SOP’s.
- Serve as a system administrator, act as a knowledge expert for the Veeva Vault suit of applications and support other analyst for the day-to-day tasks.
- Liaise with Veeva Specialist(s) and other team members including system/business owner for maintenance changes, and upgrades any relevant support tasks which are essential to maintain system availability and integrity.
- Be aware and develop User instructions and Knowledge Base article development based on issue analysis part of incident resolution and any change in the business process.
- Set new projects/study, system specific templates/checklist, LOV’s, workflows etc. in accordance with the defined SOP’s and knowledge articles.
- Provide various reports from Veeva suit of applications in the form of data extracts as per study/user requirements.
- Perform UAT testing for system upgrades, new release(s) and change management in collaboration with Clinical Systems, IT, and business users.
- In collaboration with the Clinical Operations and other applicable departments, assist in the development of new training materials, procedures and revision of current SOPs and guidelines as requested.
- Remain abreast of new developments in the systems and suggest improvements to drive efficiencies that benefit Novotech and end User as well as client services.
- Understand company processes in areas relevant to an Application Analyst and be quality minded in performance of duties. Adhere to Novotech policies and be mindful of the role of Novotech ambassador when carrying out the Application Analyst role.
- Understand the responsibilities of Novotech as a service provider in the pharmaceutical industry and ensure all communications with external parties present a positive professional image of the company.
