We’re searching for a Manager of Revenue Integrity, someone who’s ready to be part of the best ranked children’s hospital in Texas, and among the best in the nation. In this position, you will improve processes and support optimal revenue cycle performance for the system. Responsibilities of this role include development, implementation, and maintenance of organization-wide hospital and professional billing revenue integrity functions, along with oversight of the revenue integrity team. This includes oversight and maintenance of charge capture processes, charge reconciliation, clinical documentation audits, appeals, the charge description master, and other areas as assigned.

- Job Duties & Responsibilities
- • Manage employee performance, timekeeping, staffing needs, and educational activities.
- • Facilitates orientation of staff to revenue cycle, provides feedback and evaluation of progress.
- • Maintains adequate levels of qualified and competent staff in the department by collaborating with the leadership team in the recruitment and hiring of employees.
- • Manages and prioritizes workload daily.
- • Monitors and audits performance reports and performance expectations as outlined by leadership.
- • Facilitates employee performance, and provides coaching and counseling according to departmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- • Completes performance reviews for all direct reports as assigned.
- • Monitors and manages employee timecards and attendance.
- • Participates in interviewing and evaluating applicants and makes hiring recommendations as requested by leader.
- • Analyze relevant data and create data models related to outcomes & quality metrics.
- • Manage account escalations & projects.
- • Maintain and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Skills & Requirements
• Required bachelor's degree Healthcare or related field
• Licenses/Certifications: (one of the following)
o RN - Lic-Registered Nurses Texas Board of Nursing or Nursing Licensure Compact
o RHIA - Cert-Reg Health Inform. Admins by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
o RHIT - Cert-Reg Health Inform. TECH by the American Health Information Management Association
o CCS - Cert-Cert Coding Specialist by the American Health Information Management Association
o CPC - Cert-Cert Professional Coder by the America Association of Professional Coders
o CCDS DOC - Cert-Cert Clinical Doc. SPCLST by the Association of Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists
o EPIC RES - Epic Certified Resolute Hosp by the American Health Information Management Association
• Required 5 years Clinical and/or managed care experience. Preferred Hospital or Professional coding experience, Clinical documentation experience, Pediatrics experience, Appeals/denials experience, and Epic Resolute experience.
