Introduction: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic HR Specialist to join our team in Hong Kong! This role offers an incredible opportunity to support our dynamic and diverse organization by driving employee engagement, enhancing learning and development, and ensuring smooth HR policy implementation. You’ll be working closely with the wider HR team, managers, and employees to create an empowering and supportive workplace that brings out the best in everyone.
In this Role, you’ll get to:
- Partner with recruiters and managers to provide a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring they feel supported and set up for success.
- Handle daily operations associated with the employee-life cycle including but not limited to managing onboarding and offboarding, coordinating with local IT and admin for asset management and office management to enhance the people and workplace experience.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives, helping to create a vibrant and connected workplace where people thrive.
- Drive learning and development efforts by coordinating training programs, identifying growth opportunities, and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Support the rollout and communication of HR policies, ensuring clarity, compliance, and alignment with business needs.
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries, offering guidance and support to foster positive relationships and resolve issues effectively.
- Collaborate with business leaders and HR stakeholders to champion employee well-being and promote a positive work culture.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Team to enhance talent acquisition, interview arrangements, and pre-onboarding, as well as partner with hiring managers to ensure the acquisition of high-caliber candidates.
- Assist the HR Manager with accurate payroll calculations, MPF contributions, tax filings, and comprehensive benefits administration to ensure employee satisfaction.
- Contribute to key HR projects and ad-hoc assignments to enhance operational efficiency and team effectiveness.
What you'll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience.
- Good understanding of Hong Kong’s Employment Ordinance and HR practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport at all levels.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Eager to grow and develop in a supportive, dynamic HR environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
