What You Will Be Doing:

Will assist the bridge inspection and inventory section with statewide management, including:

• Learning and becoming a certified bridge inspector
• New bridge inventory requirements (Specifications for the National Bridge Inventory) implementation statewide 
• In-person bridge inspection and inventory training
• Quality assurance of statewide bridge inspection data

• Snooper Bridge Inspections

• Plenty of opportunities for field work at bridge sites!

Bachelor's degree in engineering; Accepted for Basic Fundamentals of Engineering Examination (EIT exam) by Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors.

• This position is overtime eligible based on FLSA Standards.
• All bargaining unit new hires must serve a one (1) year probationary period.
• Position will be filled pursuant to the provision of the OCSEA/AFSCME Contract.
