Brand Marketing Strategies

  • Develop long term and short-term brand strategy to enhance and elevate Samsonite brand image and drive sales in APAC market. Plan and implement action plans to support it. 
  • Develop marketing support materials and implement ATL & BTL marketing activities, including advertising campaign, media release, PR program, product launch, promotional activities and VM support etc to strive for the commercial success of the brands
  • Working closely with digital & e-commerce team or external agencies to produce best-in-class marketing assets and execution plans
  • Track and evaluate communication strategies and effectiveness of the marketing support & initiatives
  • Budget control – regular reports, source for the best vendor for each project and negotiate for the best quotation to maximize our investment
  • Provide guidance and support to the markets. Build up platform for better information sharing. Consolidate reports or information from markets and share the best practice
  • Design and execute brand health study for region

Build and Maintain Relationships with internal and external Stakeholders

  • Communicate and coordinate with other regions or Asia markets to share and leverage on each other’s’ marketing assets and efforts. 
  • Learn from other regions to improve the performance of Asia. 
  • Provide support to other regions or Asia markets when it is required 

Managing and coaching the team 

  • Motivating and coaching a marketing communications team
  • Being a people manager, is responsible for team members’ continuous professional development and competencies enhancement    

Education

  • University degree or above in business, marketing or other related.   

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years marketing related experience equivalent required with international brands
  • Regional function experience
  • Lifestyle brand / industry background
  • Experience of working with multiple agencies

Mobility/Travel

  • Occasional travel may be required 

Computer Skills

  • Hand on user on Microsoft Office, strong in Excel analysis tools, SAP user preferable 

Language

  • Native or Proficient command of English is must
  • One of additional Asian language skill will be plus
