Roles & Responsibilities

Eager to work with subject matter experts and stakeholders of the US Department of Professional Practice (DPP), particularly in the areas of income tax accounting; business combinations and restructuring; financial statement presentation; and materiality, deficiencies and error corrections Assist in US GAAP DPP projects including but not limited to updating handbooks and other collateral Stay on top of and follow current developments at the FASB Assist with group-wide initiatives and projects Assist with the ongoing needs and daily operations of our technical accounting topic teams Develop self by participating in and developing others by assisting with the development and/ or review of US GAAP training courses. Opportunities to present on technical topics at team and group meetings Ensure that the work is planned and organized and perform upfront/ postmortem reviews of deliverables to ensure quality and timely delivery of work with efficiency; proactively communicate issues and progress Able to guide and help to develop the junior team members and assist the senior team members on the DPP India team, on an as needed basis

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

International GAAP knowledge (IFRS, US GAAP, etc.) IT savvy, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint Working knowledge of new/ emerging technologies such as PowerBI, Alteryx etc. will be beneficial Strong English communication abilities (oral & written) Should possess strong project management skills

Educational Qualifications

CA/CPA/ ACCA (shall hold membership)

Work Experience

4-6 years of post-qualification experience in in applying/ implementing IFRS and/or US GAAP along with strong articleship experience from a mid-size or Big 4 firm
