You’ll play a key part in supporting daily operations, contributing to the management of security platforms and vendors, assisting with incident response, taking ownership of travel risk management and helping office teams embed risk awareness and compliance with global standards.

The Security Manager will be instrumental in carrying out the operational aspects of the global security program, including risk assessments, engagement with departmental stakeholders, coordination with office managers, and ensuring policies are followed firmwide. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills to support effective and responsive security operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating with vendors to ensure consistent service delivery and performance against agreed standards
  • Assisting in the operation and management of security systems (e.g., access control, emergency alerting, threat monitoring)
  • Contributing to the upkeep of the Global Risk Register by reporting local security issues or concerns
  • Assisting in conducting office-level risk assessments and supporting Office Managers in applying the global framework

Incident Management And Intelligence:

  • Acting as a point of escalation in managing global security incidents in line with established protocols
  • Providing operational support during incident response, ensuring timely communication with relevant stakeholders
  • Supporting the day-to-day use of security intelligence platforms, including reviewing automated alerts and escalating where needed
  • Helping maintain local office awareness of emerging risks and coordinating with third-party providers for periodic security reviews

Travel Security & Safety:

  • Leading the development and oversight of a global travel risk management programme in line with ISO 31030, including coordinating with the global assistance provider and relevant internal stakeholders (Travel, Global Mobility, Treasury, Events)
  • Monitoring global travel activity and incidents using tracking platforms, alerts, and mass notification tools; ensuring timely response and communication during critical events
  • Providing tailored travel security advice and briefings, including for high-risk destinations and at-risk traveller groups, and supporting medical repatriation and in-travel incidents
  • Conducting assessments of destinations, accommodation, and transport in higher-risk locations; implementing approval and escalation procedures where necessary
  • Representing the firm in external security forums to exchange knowledge and embed best practices across the travel safety programme

Qualification And Skills

  • Degree in security specialism, or a related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in security or corporate security operations, ideally within a professional services or global corporate environment
  • Proven expertise in supplier negotiations, contract management, and understanding of corporate security policies and compliance
  • Understanding of global risk management frameworks and relevant standards (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 31030)
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to support cross-regional initiatives and balance multiple priorities
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage with regional teams, suppliers, and senior management, combined with active listening skills for conflict resolution and problem solving
