Description

The Department of Neurology, Division of Neuro-oncology at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) is actively recruiting for a highly motivated candidate for a tenure accruing position at the rank of Assistant Professor to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team of clinicians and scientists at one of the country’s top-tier clinical, research, and teaching universities

Candidates are expected to manage outpatient clinics in both general neurology and neuro-oncology as well as provide inpatient coverage. Participation in academic and research activities, such as teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and participating in clinical trial research is an essential component of this position.

ABPN Board Eligible in Neurology and Eligible for UCNS Certification in Neuro-oncology

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
