We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll and HR Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate payroll processing across multiple countries, maintaining HR systems, and supporting key HR processes such as onboarding, benefits coordination, and employee lifecycle management. You will work closely with employees, managers, and external partners to ensure smooth and compliant HR and payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process payroll data in Estonia, Germany, and other applicable countries as required.
- Update and maintain employee and payroll-related systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support in implementing and developing HR processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Process new joiners, leavers, and contract changes in alignment with legal and internal requirements.
- Coordinate employee benefits (healthcare, pension, allowances, etc.).
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a smooth employee experience.
- Provide backup support for other Payroll and HR Specialists when needed.
- Participate in HR-related projects such as policy development, HR systems improvement, and employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements
Required Hard Skills
- Experience in payroll processing is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local labor law and payroll regulations in Estonia.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite and experience with using HRIS / payroll systems.
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Fluency in Estonian and English (additional languages such as German are an asset).
