Senior Lead Software Analyst

Majesco is seeking a backend developer for North American Property and Casualty product line.  Majesco has been identified in the ‘Visionary’ Quadrant as per Gartner’s report for L&A Product vendors in North America.

All About The Role:

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions
• Work with Oracle views, triggers, sequences, and other DB objects
• Understand and implement foreign/primary key relationships and complex joins
• Perform unit testing (positive and negative scenarios) for own code
• Debug and troubleshoot existing DB objects, including code written by others
• Analyze technical specifications and translate them into working solutions
• Basic Java knowledge (academic or training within last 5 years acceptable)
• Familiarity with XML for data handling and integration

All About You:

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL development
• Strong understanding of relational database design and optimization
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Other Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering is plus
• Experience with the Majesco Platforms/Products is a plus
• Experience with the Insurance Platforms/Products is a plus
