Accounts Payable Team Leader

Job Description

Make a Difference with Kimberly-Clark

At Kimberly-Clark, we make the essentials for a better life — and we do it with brands you know and trust: Huggies®, Kleenex®, Kotex®, Scott®, Poise®, Depend®, and more. Every day, 1 in 4 people around the world use our products. But it’s our people behind the brands who make the real difference.

We’re looking for a Procure-to-Pay (PTP) Team Lead to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team and lead our Accounts Payable operations with excellence, innovation, and purpose.

About The Role

As a PTP Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for managing a high-performing team, overseeing end-to-end AP processes, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency — all while developing talent and building strong partnerships across the business.

What You’Ll Do

Lead and coach the AP team to deliver timely and accurate invoice processing, payments, and issue resolution.

  • Own the full PTP process: invoice reception, posting, 3-way match, payment execution, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, CFI, and local statutory requirements.
  • Drive KPI performance, DPO improvement, and internal customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and standardization initiatives.

Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Foster a culture of coaching, collaboration, and continuous learning.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance roles.

3+ years of experience managing teams in a shared services or GBS environment.

Strong knowledge of AP systems and controls; SAP experience preferred.

Fluent English communication (C1 level).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems.

Experience in Lean Six Sigma or project management is a plus.

Leadership Competencies

Inspire a shared vision and lead by example.

Communicate with clarity and confidence.

Drive change and continuous improvement.

Build trust and foster collaboration.

Make strategic decisions and coach others to grow.

Why Kimberly-Clark?

At Kimberly-Clark, you’ll be part of a team that’s led by purpose and driven by you. We offer:

  • A performance-driven culture with authentic care.
  • Flex That Works: hybrid work arrangements that empower you.
  • A commitment to sustainability, inclusion, and career development.

Kimberly-Clark is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. Employment is subject to verification of pre-screening tests, including background checks and drug screening.
