Co-Development Business Unit is looking for IT Infrastructure Engineer

Internal Code: A25155

The IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the implementation, operation and maintenance of infrastructure services & end user services that meet requirements and business needs, and is aligned to policies, standards and procedures.

What will you do?

• Engage stakeholders to translate business requirement into infrastructure design or end user services design to meet the intended availability, capacity, resiliency, security and continuity requirements.
• Forecast budget needed to support the project initiatives and maintenance contracts.
• Work with service providers to design, develop, deploy and configure IT infrastructure projects to meet confidentiality, availability and data integrity needs.
• Ensure Agency’s Technical Architecture and infrastructure are following IM8 and Agency’s IT Policies and Standards.
• Manage day-to-day delivery and support of infrastructure services and collaborate with other government agencies and central services teams to facilitate and deliver government-wide infrastructure or desktop services.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Professional certifications in CompTIA, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or ITIL v3 Foundation would be advantageous.
• Relevant working experience in designing, deploying and managing enterprise level ICT infrastructure and end user services.
• Good technical knowledge of network technologies (LAN / WAN).
• Good technical knowledge of end user technologies, which would be as primary practice area, with knowledge in supporting technologies such as end-point automation services.
• Proactive and dedicated individual with good leadership and multi-tasking capabilities as well as the ability to work independently without the need for close supervision.
• Experienced in contract and vendor management.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to pitch ideas and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Team player with strong organization and people handling skills.
