- 1. Verifies exams as ordered by physician.
- 2. Developing the knowledge to perform correct scan protocols in an effort to decrease radiation exposure to patients.
- 3. Developing knowledge of and adherence to all radiation safety recommendations, including patient shielding. ALARA
- 4. Developing knowledge to properly administer IV and oral contrast.
- 5. Developing ability to explain exams/procedures to patients and families.
- 6. Ensures that work area is properly maintained.
- 7. Developing knowledge of current or new and evolving technologies in CT.
- 8. Maintains equipment and requests service as needed.
- 9. Complies with all TJC, state, federal, and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols.
- 10. Performs other duties as assigned.
