Manager - DSMG - Motor Finance - Collections - Flows - Bkt 4+ GNPA - Chandigarh - SCO 11 - (M1-M3)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collection Strategy & Execution:
• Develop and implement effective collection strategies and action plans targeting delinquent accounts (Bkt 4+ and GNPA) in the motor finance portfolio to optimize recovery rates.
• Team Management & Leadership:
• Lead, motivate, and supervise the collection team to ensure adherence to targets, quality standards, and process compliance.
• Portfolio Monitoring:
• Regularly analyze delinquency trends, collection flows, and recovery metrics; prepare reports and insights to support business decisions.
• Customer Interaction:
• Oversee and ensure timely communication with customers for overdue payments, negotiating settlements, restructuring, or legal follow-ups where necessary.
• Process Compliance:
• Ensure collection activities comply with RBI guidelines, company policies, and legal frameworks.
• Stakeholder Coordination:
• Collaborate with credit, legal, and recovery departments for effective handling of stuck or difficult accounts.
• Technology & Reporting:
• Utilize collection management systems and tools to track progress, monitor team performance, and generate management reports.
• Risk Management:
• Identify early signs of stress in accounts and propose mitigation or recovery strategies to reduce write-offs.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of motor finance collections and delinquency management.

Expertise in handling Bucket 4+ and GNPA accounts.

Leadership and team management capabilities.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Analytical mindset with proficiency in data interpretation and reporting.

Familiarity with regulatory and legal aspects of collections.

Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.

Good understanding of collection software and CRM tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in collections management, preferably in motor finance or auto loans.

Prior experience handling Bkt 4+ and GNPA accounts is mandatory.

Performance Metrics:

Recovery rate from delinquent accounts (Bkt 4+ and GNPA).

Reduction in Gross Non-Performing Assets.

Team performance against set targets.

Compliance adherence and audit outcomes.
