Neurology PA or APRN Opportunity in Beautiful Pensacola, FL
Looking for a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join a thriving and very busy Neurology practice. New graduates welcome. Prior Neurology experience preferred, but not required! Take advantage of a GREAT opportunity to learn and be trained by one of the region’s top Neurology groups. The structure of the practice allows the physician and the Advanced Practice Provider to be efficient and highly productive in clinic. NO weekends and NO inpatient responsibilities.

Compensation Package May Include:
- Competitive base salary
- Bonus potential based on net profitability after a minimum of 1 year.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under direct, and at times general, supervision of the physician.
- Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries or exacerbations of chronic disease.
- Order evidence-based testing, prescribe medications and refer to specialist as required.
- Prescribe and/or adjust prescription medications, in accordance with education and supervising physician management protocols. Assist in the training of health care personnel in certain diagnostic, therapeutic, and clinical techniques, as directed by the supervising physician.
- Document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in a timely manner.
- Typical clinic schedule will be 8-hours per day, Monday through Friday.
- Be mentored by and work directly with highly qualified Dermatology physicians, with the opportunity and expectation to work independently.

Requirements
Must be licensed by the State of Florida as a prior to hire and/or transfer into an APP position.
Must maintain State of Florida licensure throughout employment in an APP position.
Must maintain Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) certification, in accordance with American Heart Association training guidelines in effect at the time the training was conducted, throughout employment in an APP position.
