DUTY STATION; NORTHERN - GULU BRANCH

Role Summary
The Primary role for this role is handling all Special /Risk Cases in the assigned region and escalating complex issues to the Asset Risk Manager – Special Cases to be solved.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

Assisting the Asset Risk & Security Manager on management of all special cases escalated from various internal/ external sources
Assisting management on the process of handling special cases from reporting to resolution
Assist in managing a team of asset risk officers in the region
Carrying out periodic Trainings and Coaching of officers
Handling complicated/ difficult cases in supporting the Team
Negotiating with authorities and other third parties for release of company assets
Escalating complex issues to the Asset Risk Manager for resolution
Assist the Asset Risk & Security Manager in carrying out Performance management for Asset risk officers
Creating a network of essential contacts throughout the country to facilitate resolution of special case
Writing and submitting performance reports to the superiors
Working with internal legal team to ensure that all escalations that end up in litigation are processed accordingly
Any other duty as may be assigned by the supervisor/management

Minimum Qualifications and skills required;

The candidate must have been a part of Watu for a minimum of 1 year
Must have zero indiscipline record with NO warning letter (s)
Fluency in Acholi, Lango, Alur, or other widely spoken languages in the Northern region is required to effectively engage with local communities.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in computer applications and software for data entry and scheduling.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Team player, Leadership and analytical skills
Well-developed computer skills, including proven ability to use google sheets and company systems
Reporting skills and deadline-driven
