Job Overview
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for developing the sales and growth of existing and new Proteor USA territories in the Eastern US region. The RSM will develop, coach and mentor individual Sales Representatives to achieve sustainable growth. The RSM will implement sales strategies while ensuring adherence to the Sales Process, CRM utilization, territory routing, customer appointment scheduling, expense management and all other sales processes and tools.
RequirementsResponsibilities And Duties
- Ensure Sales Representatives schedule and deliver sales meetings to assigned territory customers in an effort to provide solutions with Proteor USA products and services.
- Attain or exceed identified monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales volume goals.
- Perform quarterly ride along with Sales Representatives. Complete ride along report at the conclusion of each trip and upload into Paylocity.
- Work with Field Clinical Prosthetist to create and implement effective education strategies.
- Conduct weekly team meetings to review goal attainment, activity and best practices.
- Represent the company in a highly professional manner consistent with the brand of Proteor USA. Be an example of excellence.
- Customer Service and Marketing to align on goal attainment, strategy and tactics for the satisfaction of customers.
- Coach Sales Representatives on the clinical and technical aspects of Proteor USA and competitive products. Be an expert product resource.
- Responsible for the utilization of company resources in a responsible manner to ensure profitability. Submit expense reports in a timely manner.
- Review and approve expense reports in accordance with Travel Expense Guidelines and budgetary goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 7+ years of successful medical device sales experience
- Previous experience managing a sales team is highly desirable
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- CRM proficiency including the ability to create reports and coach utilization
- Strong analytical and task management skills
- Demonstrated multi-state or large territory management skills
- Must be able to handle a rigorous travel schedule
