Description

Are you a skilled MIG Welder who thrives in a fast-paced, custom fabrication setting? We’re looking for dependable and detail-oriented welders to join our team in a contract manufacturing, high mix/low volume environment where no two jobs are the same and craftsmanship is key.

What You’Ll Do:

  • Perform MIG welding on a wide variety of custom metal parts 
  • Work from blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers to meet specifications 
  • Set up, tack, and finish welds with a focus on quality and consistency 
  • Collaborate with the team to solve fitment or welding challenges on custom jobs 
  • Use grinders, clamps, and fixtures to ensure precision and cleanliness 
  • Conduct self-inspection and ensure work meets quality standards 
  • Maintain a proficient pace while ensuring safe and accurate welds 
  • Show up every day ready to learn, work hard, and contribute 

What We’Re Looking For:

  • Experience with MIG welding in a job shop or contract manufacturing setting 
  • Strong understanding of welding symbols and blueprint reading 
  • Ability to work on a variety of parts, materials, and thicknesses 
  • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship 
  • Experience with grinding, fitting, and fabrication tools 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills 
  • A solid track record of reliable attendance 
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to grow

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous welding experience in a production environment.
  • Possess your own weld helmet.
  • Understanding of metals, basic fabrication processes, welding robots, and welding & grinding equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
  • Able to use measurement tools & equipment
  • Willing to work overtime as necessary
  • Certified Welding Technician is a plus!
