About This Opportunity
The position is tasked with the ongoing management, enhancement, and upkeep of UQ’s enterprise-wide asset management system, ensuring it aligns with broader business and lifecycle asset management goals. Central to the role is maintaining accurate and current asset data, documentation, and processes that inform both operational and strategic decisions. Working closely with the Asset Management team, the role fosters a collaborative approach to data governance, asset performance tracking, and lifecycle reporting, while also providing daily support to colleagues across the team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Produce data and reports that support financial planning and budgeting, including forward forecasts and estate condition/risk insights.
- Verify and maintain asset data across UQ platforms, ensuring system integrity, accurate registers, and timely consolidation of condition data in line with agreed frameworks.
- Drive end to end data quality, partnering with project teams to capture/validate asset register handover and streamline processes for reliable, timely insights.
- Administer and champion asset systems (e.g., Brightly, Archibus) configure, support users, and develop reporting/modelling to maximise value.
- Liaise with others across UQ and Property and Facilities to gain support and commitment towards achieving asset management responsibilities and outcomes
- Inform capital programs; support delivery/technical leads to develop Capital and Maintenance Works Programs against targets
- Lead or assist in the development and implementation of business tools relevant to asset management, such as Brightly, Archibus, GIS and others, to help ensure that UQ assets continue to meet present and future service standards

Salary Packaging Options
About You
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., information systems, engineering, business) with at least four years’ experience, or an equivalent mix of education, training, and experience.
- Experience managing organisational data and information, including testing integrity, validating sources, and resolving inconsistencies.
- Familiarity with asset condition frameworks and lifecycle cost modelling.
- Proven track record administering asset management systems and information platforms
- Relevant hands-on experience across asset management, geospatial, or information systems (e.g., Brightly, Archibus, GIS), including configuration and user support.
- History of building and maintaining reporting that drives outcomes.
- Working knowledge of ISO 55000 principles and how they translate to practical data governance, lifecycle planning, and performance reporting
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia.
