You will lead the Talent Management, Learning & Development Team, a Center of Expertise (CoE) within the Human Resources function at AllianzGI. As a key driver of our global talent, learning, and development strategy, you will shape and execute initiatives that elevate employee growth and organizational capability. Your leadership will focus on pioneering solutions that enhance the experience and effectiveness of learning, development, and succession planning, ultimately strengthening talent retention across the firm.

As the Lead for Talent Management, Learning & Development, you will guide efforts that align employee development with business needs. This includes integrating forward-thinking talent strategies to create a holistic approach to workforce development, ensuring every employee has the opportunity to thrive.

This role is based in our Frankfurt or Munich office.

What you will do

  • Strategic direction: Lead the Center of Expertise, setting strategic direction for talent management and development initiatives that align with business objectives and drive competitive advantage
  • Team leadership: Manage and inspire a team of talent management, learning and development experts, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in delivering tailored solutions
  • Collaboration: Partner across the function globally and with Allianz People & Culture, as well as with business leaders to identify talent and skill needs, strengthen workforce readiness for the future as well as ensuring a healthy leadership pipeline
  • Impactful programme design and roll out: Lead the development and implementation of impactful development programs, including skills-based frameworks.  Ensure alignment with Allianz People & Culture tools, processes and best practices where applicable
  • Operational excellence and resilience: Lead the team to leverage new technological environments to simplify, streamline, document and automate processes and procedures, with the aim to increase efficiencies and improve user experience. Leverage qualitative and quantitative metrics to monitor success.

What You Bring

  • Advanced degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
  • 6-10 years in talent management and/or other strategic HR roles, with experience in other business areas advantageous
  • Strong strategic skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Deep understanding of global talent management trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Strong and proven project management skills
  • Proven ability to lead in a complex, global, fast paced, and dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the Asset Management industry
  • Record of strong collaboration with key stakeholders across Allianz Group, or other global corporations
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus
  • Power BI and Prompting skills.
