The Role You'Ll Play

This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Engineer to join our Building Automation team at our office in London. You will learn how to provide specialist advice to clients and fellow engineers on the most appropriate control strategies for Building Services Systems and application of Building Management technologies, on some of the most exciting built environment projects in the UK.

You will be trained to provide expert advice on control strategies for building services systems and contribute to the design and implementation of intelligent building management systems.

The Skills You'Ll Bring

  • On target to achieve at least a 2:2 degree.
  • Desirable if accredited with or on course to achieve a BEng/MEng degree level (or equivalent).
  • Have a keen interest in Building Automation, with a degree in a related topic to Building Automation.
  • Possessing a desire for personal and professional development, you’ll have the proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, be organised and methodical when managing tasks, priorities and deadlines. 
  • Digital engineering is a big focus at Cundall, so ideally, you’ll have an understanding of Parametric Modelling Techniques (Grasshopper or Dynamo), or at least one modern programming language (e.g. Python, C#, VB).
  • Collaborative in nature, you’ll be able to empathise with your clients’ needs and utilise excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally, with internal and external stakeholders. You’re used to using your initiative to overcome challenges and have a positive, can-do attitude.
