Job Description

As our Assistant Night Manager / Night Auditor, you’ll be the face of the hotel after hours, leading the overnight team to deliver exceptional guest service while ensuring the smooth operation of the property.

This dual role combines operational leadership with financial accountability — you’ll be responsible for guest experience, overnight security, and balancing the hotel’s accounts. With your professionalism and care, every guest interaction will be memorable, every audit accurate, and every shift safe and seamless.

In this role, you will work a combination of Assistant Night Manager shifts and Night Auditor shifts, giving you the opportunity to grow your leadership experience while strengthening your financial and operational skills.

We are offering flexibility for the right candidate, with the role available as either a 32-hour or 40-hour work.

In This Role You Will:

  • Lead and manage overnight hotel operations as the primary point of contact.
  • Complete nightly audits, reconcile daily accounts, and prepare accurate reports.
  • Ensure strict security procedures are upheld, safeguarding both guests and property.
  • Deliver friendly, efficient service to guests, resolving issues with confidence and care.
  • Support, coach, and guide the night team, ensuring effective handovers to the morning shift.
  • Step in to oversee reception when required, ensuring high standards of guest service.

Qualifications

  • Previous Front Office or hotel operations experience (1–2 years preferred).
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with proven accuracy in auditing/cashiering.
  • Excellent grooming, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure, handle guest concerns, and lead with integrity.
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
