Job Description

Warehouse Stationery in Royal Oak, Auckland is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Casual Team Member to join our dynamic retail environment. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work in a supportive team atmosphere.

• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with inquiries and product selection
• Operate the till and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and tidy store environment
• Restock shelves and create visually appealing product displays
• Assist with inventory management and stock control
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
• Stay informed about current promotions and product ranges
• Contribute to a positive shopping experience for all customers

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Basic computer literacy for operating point-of-sale systems
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of stationery and office supplies would be advantageous
• Enthusiasm for learning about new products and staying up-to-date with store offerings
