• Some schools may have earlier or later needs, so flexibility is a plus, but you’ll always know the schedule before accepting an assignment
• Start and end times vary by school, but most assignments begin between 7:00–8:00 AM and end between 3:45–4:45 PM

• $146 per day for degree-substitute teachers, $194 per day for long-term assignments
• $125 per day for non-degreed substitute teachers, $194 per day for long-term assignments
• Step in where needed throughout the school day to support your campus - this could include lunch/recess supervision, hall and bathroom monitoring, tutoring, and proctoring during testing season

You’Ll Need:

• Minimum of 48 college credit hours or 1+ year(s) working with children 
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Works collaboratively and is open to observation and critical feedback. 
• Unwavering belief that a college education is possible for all children, and a commitment to developing a school-wide culture that fosters a productive, enthusiastic learning environment.
• Excitement about working for a school system that is changing the status quo of education in the United States
• Ability to pass state & federal background check
• Classroom experience may compensate for education requirements
• Out of pocket costs will be reimbursed after 10 teaching assignments
