Responsible for retail mortgage division consisting of mortgage production teams across distributed geography. Management responsibilities include strategic leadership, staffing, coaching and developing retail sales leaders to maximize team effectiveness and market opportunity in terms of loan volume production, profitability, and discretionary expense management. Responsibilities include driving external marketing and business sourcing strategies and initiatives, executing Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) strategies, and collaborating with internal partners to include the Community Bank, Private and Wealth Management. Leverage internal and external marketing expertise to develop and execute on internal and external sales leads, while providing superior client service quality.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. 1. Achieve budgeted financial goals in the following key areas within retail division: loan volume production, net contribution/profitability, and discretionary expense management on a relative basis.
2. Develop, communicate, and execute strategic mortgage growth plan for retail division within the context of Truist Mortgage strategies, policies, systems, and processes, leveraging Truist Marketing initiatives.
3. Manage human resources effectively to optimize the utilization and productivity per FTE, recruit and onboard talent, minimize undesirable attrition/turnover, and positively affect teammate engagement. Ensure MLO Performance Management is monitored and executed effectively. Achieve Hiring & Growth Goals within retail division by retaining and net increasing productive MLO's as required by business conditions with additional focus in targeted growth segments.
4. Ensure division executes sales leadership and business development models, a defined and organized production sales week, including leadership visibility and engagement in regions and markets.
5. Collaborate and develop strong partnerships with Truist senior leadership teams across lines of businesses to maximize mortgage opportunities and execute IRM strategies with key partners to include Community Bank and Wealth.
6. For Markets, within span of control, continuously improve Client Service Quality by leading the team's
adoption of digital tools and managing the mortgage processes to drive favorable client satisfaction scores and behaviors.
7. In conjunction with CRA, Strategic Growth, and Fair Lending teams lead divisional affordable housing efforts, and coach sales teams to effectively serve low-to-moderate markets and clients.
8. Support achievement of Truist Mortgage and Originations goals by understanding and effectively communicating Mortgage Lending strategy, policies and procedures to clients, teammates, and internal and external referral sources.
9. Ensure adherence to Mortgage Lending policies and procedures, including government regulations,
secondary market requirements, acceptable compliance and quality control performance, and adherence to Digital Advertising and Marketing requirements.
10. Knowledge of local and national real estate market conditions, mortgage product and process trends, competitive position and market opportunity. Provide feedback and solutions, as needed or requested, regarding mortgage lending delivery capabilities.QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

2. 12+ years of experience in the mortgage industry and/or financial services field
3. 5+ years of managerial experience
4. Strong understanding of mortgage lending and product lines
5. Proven ability to manage production sales leaders and loan officers, address fulfillment productivity with operations teammates, and maintain internal and external referral sources
6. Proven ability to recruit and retain productive and engaged teammatesPreferred Qualifications:
