We have an exciting Loadout Trainer opportunity. The Loadout Trainer will conduct assessments and provide training on loadout crew members and live haul drivers to ensure proper animal handling procedures are being followed.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all loadout crews are properly trained, equipped and operating in a safe and consistent manner.
  • Ensure animals are being cared for by following Seaboard Foods animal handling and biosecurity guidelines.
  • Complete daily assessment documentation and share with production and transportation teams.
  • Schedule on site training with crews and drivers to address and improve animal handling and biosecurity procedures based on assessments
  • Assist other team members to help them effectively meet overall department and company goals and requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Animal handling experience is required.
  • A clear and valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record (MVR) required.
  • Bilingual, Spanish and English preferred but not necessary.
  • Ability to be on call 24 hours per day.
