Job Summary:
The Sr. Marketing Operations Manager plays a critical leadership role within the marketing team. This position is responsible for developing and managing the operational backbone of the department and is focused on ensuring demand generation strategies and projects are effectively translated into executable plans with measurable outputs.
The role oversees marketing project intake, prioritization, execution workflows, and reporting, while driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights. They will own our enterprise project management platform. Partnering closely with strategic marketing leaders, digital, and marcomm teams, this role ensures high-impact, scalable operations that improve performance, visibility, and stakeholder satisfaction. The ideal candidate is passionate about enabling teams to work more efficiently and transparently.

- Manage all incoming project requests through the centralized Intake System
- Evaluate and prioritize submissions in collaboration with marketing team
- Develop and enforce prioritization methodology to ensure consistent evaluation and clear decision-making
- Assess the size, complexity, and level of effort required for projects
- Work with teams to determine feasibility and impact of team capacity
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders to set expectations and timelines
- Oversee internal traffic and logistics to ensure smooth execution and on-time delivery of projects
- Lead cross-team coordination to resolve bottlenecks and support escalations when needed
- Continuously refine and enforce ways of working that improve throughput and consistency
- Track project performance, delivery timelines, and resource utilization using marketing project tools
- Create standardized dashboards that provide clear insights into project status, risks, and outcomes
- Managing content and design teams, supporting leaders in fostering growth, engagement, and performance.
- Provide oversight for creative and content development, ensuring outputs are high-quality, consistent, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Assist in managing external creative partners and agencies, ensuring efficient resource use and quality standards.
- Champion collaboration between creative/content teams and broader marketing stakeholders.
- Identify pain points in operations or communications and propose scalable solutions
- Contribute to the development and optimization of marketing communications and project management best practices
- Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert (SME) for project management software
- Maintain, update, and optimize project templates, workflows, dashboards, custom fields, and forms
- Ensure data integrity, user access, and system configuration meet business needs
- Own training and onboarding; create training tools and maintain library of best practices
- Expectation to understand, participate in, and support company COS initiatives, with focus on developing a lean mindset.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams through both formal and informal channels.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a track record of leveraging data to assess performance and drive improvements
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to influence across levels and functions
- Working knowledge of budgeting, resource allocation, and project management methodologies
- Ability to assess and improve operational processes for scale and efficiency
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage through ambiguity
Education And Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Operations Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 8–10 years of marketing operations management experience within a marketing team or equivalent experience in a fast-paced agency setting
- Experience in analytics, project management, or operations management
- Demonstrated success leading teams in high-performing, goal-oriented environments.
- Master’s degree in marketing, Operations Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Experience working in or supporting construction, building materials, or industrial manufacturing industries
Working Conditions:
- This is a fully remote professional position. The incumbent is expected to maintain a dedicated, secure, and ergonomically appropriate home office environment with reliable high-speed internet connectivity. The role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining regular communication with colleagues and stakeholders via virtual collaboration tools.
- The position typically operates during standard business hours of Monday – Friday (8am – 5pm), with occasional flexibility required to accommodate meetings across time zones or critical business needs. The employee is expected to comply with all company policies related to data security, confidentiality, and remote work standards.
- Travel will be required for team meetings, trainings, or company events.
