The Role
BG&E Auckland is looking to hire an experienced Structural Engineer with 4 to 5 years construction experience to join our growing team. This role will see you delivering on a variety of projects ranging from high-end residential to light commercial and structural assessment.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivery of structural calculations and detailing of a variety of projects ranging from High-end housing to light commercial delivery
- Design and detailing across a variety of structural systems ranging from standard SED elements, structural insulated panels, thermally broken frame systems, and detailing for minimizing thermal bridging
- Provide innovative yet practical technical solutions for our clients;
- Be responsible for leading and delivering projects on time, budget and to a high standard;

- Ability to establish a trusted relationship quickly and effectively with colleagues.
- Strong NZ codes knowledge and sound understanding of New Zealand construction methodology and engineering principles
- Strong attention to detail, able to focus on critical elements, and, at the same time, remain mindful of the big picture.
- A highly motivated and autonomous individual who values being part of a talented team with diverse skills and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to express complex ideas in a simply understood manner and extreme focus on customer service.
