Order Fulfillment Clerk II

The Production Scheduler is chiefly responsible for preparing Production Orders (PDO), entering them into the SAP B1 system, assigning material and personnel resources to the orders and managing the schedule of all orders to complete and close the PDOs to meet the Customer’s requirements. Inventory transactions are made to move material into and out of the Production Dept. and managed to optimize efficiency and through-put. Quoting Custom Work lead times and entering Sales orders timely is required to provide excellent Customer service

Responsibilities:

• Analyze Customer requests or Purchase Orders to determine Visual Comfort Production Dept. ability to perform the work
• Provide lead time on repeat orders to Customer Service Representative for Customer approval. New orders require confirmation by Production Manager
• Enter Rework work orders, assign material and due date
• Schedule Production Order in Access Database and manage priorities to accomplish all work in the time required
• Record actual work results and produce reports as required
• Perform transactions in SAP, Production Access database and Accellos WMS
• Create and maintain data files/folders to manage information as required
• Pro-actively interact with department members, other staff and managers to improve Customer satisfaction
• Make recommendations for improvement to job processes to ensure standards for data integrity and Production Dept. performance
• Accomplishing all tasks assigned or requested

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Minimum 5+ years in production scheduling or production management
• Proficient with MS Office, including Access, advanced Excel and Word skills
• Proven results in operational and customer satisfaction excellence
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
• Exceptional mathematics, reasoning and problem solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing quality product
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under stress
• Works well in a team environment

Compensation range is $19-21 per hour.
